“Zambian Breweries” has received three units of the SOLARKIOSK E-HUBB as new retail distribution points, which will use the solar irradiation to keep the supplies of Castle Lite premium lager extra cold in those off-grid regions of Zambia. Castle Lite is  well known for its innovation.

Zambia has an average 2,000-3,000 hours of sunshine per year, yet only some 3 percent of the population in rural areas has access to electricity, according to the Rural Electrification Authority (REA).

Placing E-HUBB’s in off-grid communities in Zambia has helped us to strengthen our commitment to supporting small retailers. The technology of the E-HUBB has also made it possible to deliver cold beverages through sustainable energy, while providing these communities with access to energy services.
