With the joint support of Munich Re and ERGO, SOLARKIOSK will open five new E-HUBBs in Kenya in 2017.
In addition to the supply of renewable energy products, services and consumer goods, the co-branded E-HUBBs will offer free wifi connectivity to the community. SOLARKIOSK will also join forces with a local NGO partner to offer programming focused on resilience and enabling of the local population. The E-HUBBs will be located in Migori County, adding to Solar Kiosk Kenya’s growing network spanning across nine counties.
We are so pleased to announce our partnership with Munich Re and ERGO, as we are completely aligned in our focus on climate change resilience through renewable energy and female empowerment, commented SOLARKIOSK CEO Andreas Spiess at the ERGO kick-off event held in Dusseldorf on Monday.
