United Nations Foundation and HOPE For Women And Children In Bangladesh in an article about our solar powered clinic project in Cox Bazaar

Wanted to share this amazing In conversation with piece, written by Luc Severi of the United Nations Foundation Powering Healthcare after an interview with Iftikher Mahmood, MD of HOPE Foundation for Women & Children of Bangladesh.

Dr. Iftikher is talking about how Hope is using their vast experience and our solar powered infrastructure solutions to improve the healthcare situation for women and children in the world’s biggest refugee camp:

An interesting point to make about our solar clinics is that now women can go into labor in an air-conditioned room. This might sound insignificant, but being in labor in a hot room at 85F can be very painful. It’s crucial that every woman experience labor and birth in healthy and comfortable conditions.
